The days I forget to remember,
Void of all but no one’s ever,
The silence and loneliness I can feel,
A broken heart that never heals.
The pain so deep within my soul,
A sea of memories that take their toll,
The broken dreams I had long ago,
All the tears of sorrow I did not show.
Each day I try to make it through,
Longing for the light I used to view,
The only thing that can break the gloom,
Is the moments I remember of my yesterdays soon.
