Apathy in the classroom

Education suffering in plain views,
Parents undermines our teachers’ cues,
Discipline takes a back seat now,
Parents pander to their avarice,
Student misbehave with no fear,
Teachers losing control day by day,
Apathy has seeped in the classrooms,
Knowledge is no longer prized,
Disputes are dragged into courts,
Necessary learning grinds to a halt,
The future of our children at stake,
Our nation’s growth in doubt,
Why can’t we all work together?
To nurture a brighter tomorrow.
